French courses for:
4 children (4-10 years old)

Each session is composed of:
36 hours (for adults and teenagers) or 28 hours (for children). Students are trained in both oral and written French.
A certificate is given at the end of each session once the final test passed.
The FCC provides the teaching material which covers 4 levels for the adults and 3 levels for the children and teenagers:
1 1 exercise book + 1 grammar book + 1CD =150 QR for adults
2 1 exercise book + 1 grammar book + 1CD = 100 QR for teenagers and children
Also available:
Private courses, in/out, our teachers give private lessons either at the French Cultural Centre, at home, or even at your office !
Specialized French including Business, hotel and catering, finance, administration, science and technology, health and international affairs.
Arabic courses, for the fees and the dates refer to the schedule of French courses.
Adults:
1 - How to introduce oneself, expresss one's likes, talk about the weather, phone and take an appointment
2 - How to invite someone, express an opinion, locate places in a town, shop or take the train
3 - How to apologize, to talk about one's family, one's time-table, one's job
4 - How to talk about past events and places where one lives
5 - How to give or ask for advice, to understand a factual text, to express conditions and hypothesis
6 - How to write a letter to a friend, how to convince, to argue, to understand the pros and the cons
7 - How to complain, to encourage, give or understand explanations
8 - How to justify one's choice, express one' feelings
9 - Conversation or Writing (skills review starting from authentic documents)
Teenagers and children courses have the same communicative targets using an entertaining approach (games, rhymes and songs for the youngest and short plays for the oldest).

D) fast-track session: 18 June - 11July
The session lasts 3 weeks and a half instead of 9, studying on a daily basis, 5 days a week. 2 hours everyday for adults and teenagers and 1h30 everyday for children.

Our students are better and faster trained , the use of Internet-based language materials, like French radio, television, newspapers, helps students experience French language in a powerful authentic context.
DIPLOMAS
DELF / DALF: delivered by the French Ministry of Education it is composed of 6 capitalisable credits based on the European scale of reference for languages, it gives a great flexibility in the preparation.
TEF: allows non French students to demonstrate their fluency in French when they seek admission in Grandes Ecoles or French speaking universities, employment or promotion.

Fête de fin de session au Centre Culturel Français de Doha

Le jeudi 3 juin 2004 les cours pour enfants se sont terminés par une sympathique démonstration des connaissances et compétences communicatives que les élèves du CCF ont pu développer au cours de cette année scolaire !

Au delà des comptines, chansons, saynètes, jeux de rôles et projets de classe qui ont motivé tout au long de l'année même les élèves les plus timides, les parents ont pu constater le plaisir partagé des enfants et enseignants et percevoir la rigueur pédagogique attestée par les progrès de chacun !

Un grand merci à Dominique Fraisse, qui a coordonné les activités pédagogiques du Centre et qui par sa patience, sa grande compétence et sa gentillesse a institué des méthodes et des habitudes de travail au sein de l'équipe pédagogique . Dominique nous quitte cet été pour le Vénézuéla, l'ensemble du personnel du CCF lui souhaite un bon voyage et une bonne installation.
